The general partner and the investment manager are primarily owned and controlled by the firm's founder. Investment decisions sit with the investment committee.

Each fund is structured as a Delaware limited partnership with an affiliated general partner. Northcap Strategic Advisors LLC is retained as investment manager and runs the investment programme; the general partner manages the partnership’s overall business and operations.
Because the founder owns and controls both entities, the people responsible for underwriting a position are the people accountable for it for the life of the fund. Potential conflicts of interest, allocation policy and the full governance framework are described in each fund’s offering documents.
